B&Ws iconic Solid Body Tweeter-on-Top housing features an elongated form with a longer tube-loading system, creating an even more free and open sound with high frequencies. As before, the carefully decoupled housing is milled from a single block of aluminium to better resist resonance.
Compared to 805D3, the new 805D4 introduces an all-new reverse-wrap cabinet design with an upgraded plywood Matrix bracing plus extensive use of aluminium in critical areas. Its rear-mounted crossover is isolated from the cabinet and the new, extended Solid Body Tweeter assembly features an enhanced two-point decoupling system for even more spaciousness
